I have a web site and am already selling a product with payment thru PayPal.
And I have other people who want to sell my product by directing them to my site.
I've set up the product with PayDotCom, but can't figure out how to use it!
How do I use PayDotCom so that I can track the sales and commissions etc. Is there a user's guide or manual?

Hello,

I have a link below to a tutorial for using PDC. Within that tutorial is also a link to a tutorial for selling your own products on PDC.

Let me know if you have more questions.

Tracking is automatic that's the purpose of these types of services

Steven let me thank you for all the good help you're giving to everyone here. Anyone that's been on this forum for more than even a few days appreciates your hard volunteer work

Did you read the specific page on how to use PayDotcom?

It tells you exactly how to do it pretty much step by step.

Hi, all

I would second HomeTutor's comments. Steven is extremely generous with his information and I, for one, am very grateful to him for the helpful hints and tips he's provided freely.

It is quite possible that those who post questions, want an immediate answer (step-by-step) rather than a link. But if Steven or any of us were to do that on a regular basis, it would become more than a full-time job for which we would not get paid!

Just like FAQs on any commercial page, it's not a bad idea to read the content given via a link and then ask more specific questions if the topic is not covered fully and to your satisfaction.

Thanks Steven. I shall be back to pick your brains, again!

Yes, most beginners think there is a specific formula out there...do this and then do that...and you get money. It is not quite that easy. I can help with all the basics required.

Here is the good news: All successful Internet marketers pull from the same set of basic skills.

Knowing the basic set of skills is a must. However, there are as many different flares for using those skills as there are Internet marketers. That is the point that separates those who become successful and those who simply quit. In order to be successful, one has to take the skills and then add their own personality to it...their own twists and uniqueness.

There is no canned formula. Study how successful people do it; especially notice how their precise method is different from others. Learn the basic skills well, but then you have to find that one place that is suited just for you...that part is key.

abruck, your best bet is to do it how you would in the real world. Actually sit down and take some notes dont get caught up with super big dollar signs in your mellon and write a business plan for yourself, Write down the things you need the most training on first and then list the importance of them and focus on one aspect of it until you have a solid understanding on how to market it then move on to the next. Your ultimate goal is duplication.
